Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

No full custody on paper -b

My ex gave me the kids 14 months ago. I never attemepted to have a modification of custody. Now she wants her life back. Had to give up the kids because of school and not having full custody. Everyone tells me I should of requestd a modification of custody, months ago. How the hell do I do that if she is not in consent with it. She could just get legal aid and fight me. She would never sign papers. Do I or did I need her consent. This just isn't fair. She could take off ....work in a strip bar...come back ....say I want things back and I now my kids have to deal with it. There was never nothing Icould of done...ever.

Her actions come very close to abandonment and do show a lack of proper parenting skills on her part. While the process can take some time a petition to modify custody could get your children back in your care. I highly recommend you speak at lenght about this with an attorney. I offer free consultations.
