Furnishings left in ex's home

I recently divorced, and left the home. I left my son's nursery furnishings in the home, because he outgrew them, and due to time constraints. My sister is expecting and we would like to keep the furniture in the family. My parents purchased the furniture, and have the receipts to prove this. We have tried contacting my ex, without a response.

What are the chances of regaining these items?

If there wasn't a property settlement with the divorce then you are out of luck unless your ex is willing to give them back.
