Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
I may have gotten a girl pregnent. We both verbally decided abortion was best. I gave her 500 for the abortion fee. She ends up keeping the baby then spends the money on a crib and stroller. Then wants to file for child support. I have recorded documents proving that she backed out on the agreement. Whats going to happen now as far as court goes?

The Agreement is not binding. The court will enter an order of child support. You, of course, have rights to see the child, and can file a complaint for partial custody. If you have an doubts as to paternity of the child, you must raise them at the support conference, before siging anything. They can order testing, although if you are confirmed to be the father, you will pay for the test.
Hi! Looks like you are in Fox Chase or Lawndale area--not far from where i live
In court you shbuld get credit for the money you gave her---
If you are identified as the father of the child or if you acknowledge paternity, you will probably have to pay support I am not suggesting that you deny you are the father---
You can ask for testing, but if it is your baby, you will have to pay for the test....
BUT IF YOU DO have to pay support,
Maybe you should get to know the baby (YOUR BABY) and be a father to the child and get some joy out of it....It might prove to be an unexpected blessing for you....regardless of your feelings or lack of feelings for the mother of the child....
The court has guidelines to determine support.....
