Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Me and my girlfriend just had a baby. We are both under age. She put my name on the birth certificate and my last name. The parents want to wait till the birth certificate comes in then change the last name to hers.i was wondering in the state of Pa do i have to sigh the papers to allow it. Also would that change any rights i have or would it take me off the birth certificate. I just want to know what to suspect and be aware of what would or could happen.

Are you the father or not? If you are and they change the name to some other name that would be filing a false record. Do you want a role in the child's life now is the time to stand up. That said you're going to need a lawyer.
