Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

The grandmother of my daughter's 10 yr old son, wants to get in touch with them considering a sum of money left to him by her mother in a will; my daughter has sole custody and wants no ties with the father or their family. ( he has no rights or visitation privilages what so ever) The grandmother wants to know his ssn, address, and other information. What is her course of action ? She does not want to open a dialog with them and have trouble.

I have been asked by my daughter for advice .

If there a will then it should be in probate. Further there should be a lawyer involved. I would talk to the estate's attorney.
