Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

grandparents rights

do grandparents have rights in the state of pa? My grandchildren are about to be put up for adoption and I have been asking for custody since they were taken from their parents. I am the maternal grandmother, and these young children lived with me for months while they were in their parents care.

Re: grandparents rights

You may have rights if you have cared for the children for a significant period of time. That might get you partial physical custody.

However, if the parents parental rights are terminated so will your rights as grandparents.

Because I feel that termination of parental rights is a very serious matter you do need to talk to an attorney and soon.
