Health insurance

How long is my children and myself covered by my soon to be ex spouse's health insurance? The divorce papers were not filed yet.

If your spouse is the father of the child then the divorce has no bearing. Your ex can choose to not cover you or your child on his insurance and that is his personal decision to do. If he should decide to do that you will probably have less than the 30 days of coverage after he makes this decision. Remember this is a voluntary action on his part.
