Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

House

My husband and I are separated. He still lives in the house we both own. I pay nothing toward the house since moving out. Can I charge him rent in the state of PA since he is making no move to sell?

Re: House

Well if he is paying the mortgage and other costs of the household like utilities and taxes how do you figure he owes you went. After all absent a court order for exclusive possession you have a right to live there. So unless I'm missing something I don't see how you're entitled to rent.

If you want the house sold that will happen when there is equitable distribution per a divorce decree.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
