Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My husband and his affair

My husband has been having an affair online. I just found out through his emails. I have printed many of them. In the emails it states that they have been together, had phone sex, cyber sex, exchanged naked photos, and confessing their love for one another. This relationship has been going on for years. He had told her that our marriage was not very good and has shared many pictures of our children. I thought the marriage was going good. We have had a past with him being abusive and porn sites but I trully believed he had changed. Now I am finding out that he has been going online with other women too. He has confessed that he looks for a certain type of girl and tells her that his wife had died from a stroke after giving birth to his son in 2000. Yes I did have a stroke after my son was born in 2000 but as you can see I am not dead. I am shocked he could say such a thing. and actually am afraid I was wondering if there are any laws for this in pa? is this ground for divorse? Can I get a restraining order? I am lost. Please help.

Re: My husband and his affair

It certainly seems that the activity your husband has been engaging in may qualify at least for indignities of the person. Youy should consult with an attorney to discuss your case in more depth. If you are located near my office you can contact me to schedule a consultation should you desire.

Re: My husband and his affair

There used to be but they have long since been repealed.

Its not clear if your husband has committed adultery. If not it could be indignities. This is another fault grounds for divorce.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
