Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My "husband" began, but not completed, necessary paperwork for a no-fault divorce in March of 2005. I don't know where he's at now, and have no idea on how to proceed. The Prothonotary told me to go D-papers and bring them in. When I did no one had any idea what I was talking about. How do I proceed? Thank you for your time.

Most likely the original divorce complaint has been terminated. They do that if after 2 years nothing has been filed. So you will have to file a divorce complaint. However, to get the divorce you'll have to serve your "husband". First thing to check is if he's still alive. Which is cheap and easy to do. If he's alive then you'd have to find out where he is.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
