Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My ex husband currently has custody of our 2 children and in the past 2-3 years he developed and addiction to cocaine,went to rehad ,2 weeks after rehad he was driving a dump truck and hit and killed 2 people...he is currently in prison but will getting out on October 22nd.The children are currently with his wife (who has divoced him while he was in jail)and once he gets out she will no longer be around and my kids are terrified to continue to stay with their father due to the fact that they dont know whats going to happen with him once he's out ,meaning if he starts up his drug habit again ect.My son is going to be attending Milton Hershey School in the next couple weeks which means my daughter will be left alone with him and shes concerned about that. Is there some kind of emergency custody order i would obtain in the meen time ? I really just need the children feel and be safe. Thank you for your time....Kathy Whitman

Time to file a petition to modify custody. Actually passed the time but better late than never.
