can my husband have divorce papers served on adult other than myself?

Yes, but that person would have to be your attorney. I would guess you don't have an attorney so they would have to be served on you. The Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure require that the papers be served in one of the following ways:

1) By Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested Restricted Delivery

2) They maybe served by the Sheriff who would hand them to you.

3) Any adult who is not party to to suit may serve you again they would hand them to you.

So if your husband were to hand them to you it would not be good service.
