Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My husband was never leagally adopted by his stepfather but has taken that name all his life. His birth certificate has his "real" name and he cannot get a passport because it does not match his social security card or license. Am I really married?

Yes you're married. Your husband might need his named changed. That's what my father did to get a passport. His father changed his name but not his children when he became a US citizen.
