Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My husband left and is living with another woman after 25 years of marriage. We have one son that is in his 2nd year of college. My husband is still helping me with the bills but I don't think he's giving me enough to help with the bills and I am paying all the bills and my hours were cut at work to 36 a week and we also have to take a week of furlough a month. I cannot afford a lawyer. He made the choice to leave-can I have him pay for my lawyer fees?

There would be no obligation to support the child in college. As for what he is paying, I would require both parties' income information to determine if you would be entitled to a greater amount in spousal support. There are a number of other factors also to consider, including the amount of your mortgage, if any. As part of the divorce you can seek attorney fees. However, attorneys work generally on a retainer fee, which must be paid up front by you at the time you hire them.
