Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Hi, my husband wants to move back to his home state of Ok with our 8yr old son. He does not want me to come with him at first and doesn't know if he wants me to at all really. I have 4 other children from a previous marriage and have shared custody with their father. I live in Pa and would not be able to visit my 8yr old at all if he takes him. My husband claims that he has every right to and I can't stop him. We are both unemployed and have no money for lawyers. I want to go with him but either way my son looses either a father, or a mother and brothers. does my husband have the right to do this? We are not separated until he moves. If I let my son go temporarily, will it look bad in the eyes of the court to ever get him back ?

No, you have the right to oppose the relocation of your child. You don't want the child to go to OK because after 6 months the jurisdiction for custody will be in OK not PA.
