My ex husband and I split up over 7 years ago and he has not had any contact with our children since., We divorced and now I am currently engaged. This man wants to adopt my children before we get married so that way, we can be a family when we get married. Is it possible for him to adopt the children without us being married? we live in the state of pa

It depends what county you live in, in the more rural counties, the Court's prefer you to be married; if you're in Philly, you would have to show the Court you are in a committed relationship. The biological father will have to sign off on the adoption.

Don't do it. You need to wait till you're married. Unless you like to adopt your children from your new husband.
