Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Iam a resident of the state of PA but have recently been living a shelter for abused wome inthe state of VA for about one month. I have the custody forms for the state of PA filled out already from a self service website but I am not sure if I should list the new Virginia address as my new residence or keep the old address which is in PA. I even tried file custody in the state of VA but I have not been a resident long enough. I just need to know should i even state my new address.

Jurisdiction for custody is determined based on where you have lived with the child. For VA to have jurisdiction then you would have had to live in VA for at least 6 months. Since you haven't PA has jurisdiction in this case.
