Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Interference with custody of children

My X-Wife wishes to pursue a Third Degree Felony for my son at the age of 17 who moving to Texas on his own and emancipating himself from her, we went through the attorney generals office and they dropped all child support for him from the court of common pleas in Lancaster PA in June of this year.. Is this possible, and if it is what should I do....He does not wish to live with his mother, but she has filed a motion now in October of 2008 under CRIMES CODE 18 Pa.C.S.A. 2904 INTERFERENCE WITH CUSTODY OF CHILDREN with Centre County PA. Please let us know......Thanks

Re: Interference with custody of children

Based on what you have written, it appears that the child's mother is attempting everything to retain custody, control and the support in place. You should seek the assistance of a PA family law firm to assist you with the proper defense of these allegations. If my local Texas family law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my paralegal Tina ([email protected]) to arrange for an initial consultation.
