Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Is it a law that if you never even knew you had a kid until 4 years after they were born and the mother tries to collect child support and I get charged owed child support for the years they didn't even know they had a child?

No, unless they filed the complaint for years ago. Sometimes happens with welfare cases and it is good to have a lawyer who can reduce or eliminate those arrears. Otherwise, support is effective the date it is filed for. You would also have rights to see the child and have partial custody.
