Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Leaving the house

My brother resides in PA (delaware county) his was cheated on him twice. He really wants to leave but, everyone is telling him if he leaves his house it is abandoment, he should stay. How can one stay with someone who is cheating on him. Also, they be married for 14 years. My aunt left him (when she died) a piece of property and a small life insurance policy. When the divorce comes through is she entitled to this inheritance?

Thank you

Re: Leaving the house

As PA is a no fault state, abandonment is not an issue, except maybe as to whether his wife gets spousal support. Most of the time someone leaves. As for the inheritance, generally it is excluded from marital property, as might be the lief insurance. I need more information. He may contact me to schedule a free 1/2 consult.
