Leaving my residence before divorce

If I leave my home before filing for a divorce, do I lose my rights to the property?

While you won't lose your rights to your home possession of the home can be important to a judge's thinking regarding division of property. If you are suffering abuse a PFA would allow you to have your spouse removed from the residence. I offer free consultations.
