Legal Age to enter into contract in Pennsylvania

My daughter is 18. Can I make her the beneficiary of my will and live insurance policies without a trustee? I live in the State of Pennsylvania

Yes. The age of majority in Pennsylvania is 18 for most purposes; 18 and out of high school for others.

Yes. She is a legal adult at 18. However, many people consider putting this inheritance into a simple trust, so another responsible adult can be sure the money is used carefully until she reaches 21, 25, 30, etc... That is your choice. Please contact me with any questions. Good luck.
