lend money

I recently lent somebody money, with the agreement that the person would pay me back in one month. This person needed the money for a down payment on a house and is two months late in paying me back. What can i do. Can i sue this person for not paying me back. ?

YOu may be able to file a civil complaint, depending upon if you have any proof you made this loan, and the amount of the loan. Check with your local small claims court for more information.
