Limit of Continuances?

Is there a limit to how many continuances someone is granted?

Re: Limit of Continuances?

Generally you get one. Once a continuance is granted the court looks to reschedule when the attorneys are available. That's not to say that another continuance wouldn't be granted but the court does want to get on with it and get the matter decided so they frown on many more than one continuance.
