Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I have been living with a man for over 2 years. We were engaged and now the relationship has ended. I am still living in the home with him and his daughter until I can find a place to go and get on my feet. Can he just throw my daughter and I out? I have been paying bills here and this has been my address for over 2 years. Doesn't he have to go through an eviction process or something? Can he legally just throw us out?

If your name isn't on the deed and you have not been paying him rent, then yes -- he *can* just throw you and your daughter out. Your best bet is to find a new place, and fast.

As an aside: I can't imagine that you'd want to stay there any longer than possible if your presence isn't wanted -- talk about uncomfortable!

Best of luck to you.
