Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
how long after a divorce, can a revision to the decree be done? i was not totally disabled when we divorced, but i agreed to go through mediation because he said we were going to get back together with a new start. i only received child support until the kids were 18. now i have to live on 700 a month and cannot barely make it, while he has his own successful business and properties an i even lost my house in short sale to him. i have nothing and i was married for 19 years. i lived really well when i was married, now i live in one of his rentals not even a really nice place and he has 2 homes. can something be done.

The time to get alimony was during the divorce, not now. You don't indicate when the decree was entered, but unless there was some type of fraud, I would think that anything more than 5 years is too long to wait.
However, see a family law attorney in the county/state where the decree was entered. If you qualify, see if Legal Aid will assist. If not, try the local bar association; most have referral services and there are even some attorneys who will take the matter pro bono (for free) if you have a case. However, an attorney will need to see the final divorce order/decree and any settlement agreements that were signed.
