Depends on the grounds claimed for the divorce. If the only grounds claimed are either consent and/or 2 years separation then there is nothing answer. If there was a fault ground such indignities then a response maybe required. There maybe other counts like equitable distribution and custody.

Without knowing what claims have been made it would be hard to say what is required as a response.
