Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Can I make my husband pay rent after he walked out. We signed a legal contract to purchase the home together. I want to stay in the house, buy I can't afford it by myself. He makes much more money that I do.

Rent? No. Spousal support? Yes.

You should immediately file for spousal support with the Domestic Relations Section of your local Court of Common Pleas. The filing fee is minimal, and will schedule a support conference where a monthly monetary award will probably be awarded to you. Of course, if you two have children, you should file for child support at the same time.

Best of luck to you. If you'd like to discuss your situation in further detail, feel free to contact me offline.
