How do your assets change after marriage as opposed to before marriage?

What are advantages or disadvantages to starting a business prior to marriage or after marriage? Will it be beneficial to the single person/couple either way?

There are many books written on the "marital estate". Simply put, what is purchased or acquired after marriage, with exceptions, is both's property, no matter who bought it. Appreciation on previosly owned property is both's. I could go on, but it would be better if you picked up a devorce code from Harrisburg. The domestic relations act can be gotten from legislative referance bureau for about 10.00
