Abandonment may be a fault ground for divorce. Abandonment is not just leaving the home. Parties have to be separated in order to get divorced. Both parents have a duty to support their children. Don't fail to support your children and visit with them just because you leave. Why are you leaving as opposed to your husband? Who is in the financially better situation to do so? I suggest that if the marriage is over, that you go and talk to a family law attorney first to better understand your rights and responsibilities before you decide to leave.

Abandonment is more of a divorce issue,,,,,,. I think you really need to explore the entire scenario with an attorney---a consultation fee would be a small but worthwhile investment.

If you wish to call me, there is no charge for a phone consultation....

I live in Montgomery county PA and you evidently reside in King of Prussia area...Feel free to call me....
