Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I was married in 2005. That same year I left my spouse due to domestic violence problems. I moved out of state to my mothers. (Was married in Texas now live in Pennsylvania)

After a few months, perhaps 2, months of me being gone, I was receiving phone calls from a PI from the army, he was in the army, asking me where he was and that he had resigned his contract then went AWOL. I have not heard from my 'husband' since 2005. I have not been able to locate him either. Is there a way to get the marriage annulled without me having to return to Texas to do it? Is the marriage already annulled? And is there any way to get a divorce without knowing his location or anything about him for 5 years?

I've had 2 kids since I've left him 5 years ago. I want to remarry and have a real family. I need help and no one is giving me answers. Please help.

To file a suit for annulment or divorce requires that you be able to serve him. You don't need his exact address as you can ask the court to allow you to serve him by publication. However, to do that you need to know where he lives at least on a city and state level, so you know what paper to use.

If he has any relatives you might ask them if they have a clue where he is.
