married less than a year...PA...he lied about us moving to area where im from..bcuz i didnt want to leave my daughter..he was also on line w/other women..attempted rape etc i have proof via emails of his antics.. ive left him and now am basically destitute am on ssi..he sent divorce papers but i cant afford atty...can i get alimony or something to help i am desperate and soon to be homeless

You could go to your local domestic relations and file a petition for spousal support. You will need a lawyer to make a claim for alimony as this will require the filing of a counter-claim with a count for alimony. also, depending on the circumstances, your lawyer may file a count for lawyer's fees.

If you can't afford an attorney, I would suggest that you contact the local bar association to see if you qualify for a pro bono program. It will really be in your best interest to retain counsel.
