Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

money

My husband of 27 years decided I cannot have any money from our joint checking account and has total control of it. I recently went to the bank to obtain access to the account and he was furious with me. Can he close the account or prevent me from ever having any money?

Re: money

He could empty the account and open another in his own name. If he refuses to allow you to have any money you could file for spousal support; or even file a divorce and ask for alimony pendente lite. It sounds like it's heading that way.
