Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

The mother of my child has a mother that is trying to get some kind of custody. The mother of my child claims it's to help support our daughter. Their talking about some Joint-custody. I personally do not think it's a good idea. Can custody be split amongest the Father, Mother, and Grandmother? If it is, how do I stop this from happening?

Under certain circumstances, a grandparent may be able to obtain some form of custody. Its hard to say here without knowing more facts.

The best way to stop this from happening is to retain a lawyer to defend against her claim.
