Mother leaving state with child against fathers wishes

I am divorced and have a 4 yr old daughter with my ex. We have a agreement between us that he gets visitation every wkend. I have full custody of our daughter. Can I leave Pa to move to AZ against his wishes w/o legal troubles?

No. You have to file a petition to leave, which will then modify your Court Order for visitation.

Depends on how you define legal troubles. He can challenge your move to Arizona. So I would call that legal trouble.

There is a standard used to see if the move is in the best interest of the child, called the Metzger standard.
