Motion Court

I would like to know what motion court means and how important it is?

Motions court is a general term which refers to those judges handling motions. A motion is difficult to define, but I will attempt to do so by an example. If discovery is sought (information through written questions or a deposition) and someone does not comply, a motion is filed to compel their compliance.
