Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Moving out of state w/o visitation agreements

I am not married to, live with, nor divorced to my 5 y/o daughter's father. Her father does not have a court ordered visitation/custody nor has he tried to see her in the last 10.5 months. My daughter does receive insurance benefits and child support from her father.

Currently, my fiance has been living with me and jointly provides for my daughter with me. We are contemplating moving out of state towards a better job offer.

Is there something I need to do prior to moving? I check my child support papers and nothing is listed about it.

Re: Moving out of state w/o visitation agreements

Your ex has up to 6 months after the move to take you to court to oppose the move.

I would seek either a waiver from him regarding your move or get a stipulated custody order.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
