Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Net income determination for child support

I am a low income NCP that falls within the guidelines of the new CAM law (I'm supposed to retain $550/month. Last summer I was laid off. I took a chance on myself, and borrowed money to start a lawn service. My 2005 tax return reflects a net loss. What happens to a support order in a situation where neither parent has net income? (We both are supported by our current spouses.)

Unless you had the support order reduced, you are accruing arrears at the rate of the last order. The fact you are laid off probably will get you a reduction but, they may impute income to you.
