Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Notarized Agreement support

I signed a notarized agreement with my son's father that he would transfer a motorcycle in return for him making a $200 a month payment on a personal loan he has and wanted paid off and that the $200 would count as child support and that I would not take him to DRS until this loan was paid off .. would this notarized paper stand up in court for me to not be able to receive child support if I did go to DRS before it was paid off?

Re: Notarized Agreement support

NO! Any contract to waive child support is void. First child support isn't owed from one parent to the other but from both parents to the child.

A notary only can attest to the fact that the person who signed the document is who they say they are. It is the unlicensed practice of law for the notary to say that a document is legal or not. Unless the notary is also a lawyer.
