notorized letter?

how and where can i get a letter stating that the father of my child signed over parental rights notorized ?

Most baks have notaries. I have two notaries in my office that would do it at no charge. You also want to make certain that the document that he is signing is valid, so that he can not come back years later and try to reinvolve himself in the childs life.

You can get it notarized at numerous locations, such as banks, auto tag locations, etc. However, such a signed document will more than likely not be enforceable in court, if at some point the father wants rigths in the future. If it was as easy as a father signing away his rights, some fathers would do so in order to avoid their child support obligation, which would not be enforceable and is against public policy. You may rather want to get a custody order stating that you have primary physical and legal custody of the child.
