Do I owe ex spouse money for previous property?

Hello, I filed for divorce from my abusive husband in Feb of '07 and it will be finalized Feb of '09. I had a condo in my name, which was sold a few months ago. My husband and I were together at the time and we decided to buy my parents' house. The check was signed over to my dad to put it down on the mortgage. My parents' house is still in my mom and dad's name. Would i legally owe my husband any money if he were to ask for a piece of the condo proceeds?

Probably yes; if the issue got to a judge. The big question is whether either of you filed a claim for the division of your marital property.
