Parental rights waved

In the state of PA what are the

requirements to sign one parental

rights away? I live in AZ. child lives in

There has to be an adoption that would occur right after the rights are terminated.

In short you can't just terminate your rights as it would also eliminate your duty to pay child support. This burden might well fall on the Commonwealth. So as a matter of public policy such an action is not allowed.

Consider it this way, you helped bring this child to life why should the state allow you to shift the burden to the taxpayers?

Remember the child support you paid is owed to YOUR child.
