Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

PA's new child custody laws advise they are looking into backgrounds of each household member where the child would be. How much are they legally allowed to dig for? I'm aware they look at alcohol, drug, and abuse instances; but can they take into accounts of medically history, psychological history, employment history...etc.?

Gee how much money do you have to spend? If you have the $$$ you probably can dig up stuff can it be used? Depends on the judge.
