Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Paternity
If you marry someone based on the premise that the child is yours and you have a DNA test and find out it is not your biological offspring. And your name is on the birth certificate.
Do you still have rights?

Re: Paternity
You asked about paternity.
If a child is born to a couple in wedlock then it is a presumption at law that the child is a product of that union. There is some law that a named father may be able to dispute paternity but the law is not yet fixed.
This is why lawyers exist. If you hire a lawyer to dispute parentage then that is his/her job to make that argument. If you hire an attorney to maintain that parental link, depsite the DNA, then it is his/her job to argue that the link must be undisturbed.
Either way it's an interesting case and should make some new law. Unfortunately that new law will be paid for by the the disputing parties.
Hire an attorney to come up with the answer you want in your case.
