Do I still have to pay child support

I have twin sons age 13 whom i have been paying child support for now just came to live with me. Do I need a lawyer to draw up legal physical custody or is the note the mother gave me legally binding. Do i have to continue paying the child support order? Help!

If there is a court order you have to pay child support until that order is changed.

A lawyer can assist you in having the court order for support modified.
