Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Hi I am currently paying child support for my two children. During the summer they will be with me all week except for when its there mothers weekend. Is there any way I can have my child support ammended.

Maybe. The child support guidelines in PA (I have assumed that is where the children are located and that the support order was entered there. If it wasn't, then you should check with an attorney in that state) indicate the amounts of basic child support incorporate into the schedule the assumption that the children spend 30% of the time with the obligor (paying non-custodial parent) and that the obligor makes direct expenditures on their behalf during that time.

What this means is that do the children spend more than 30% of the time (overnights) in a year with you? A good rule might be more than 123 overnights per year. If all the summer time adds up, then you can request deviation. You should probably talk to a family law attorney to confirm what I have stated to see if you should proceed.
