Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Paying off a loan

While I was married, my parents lent us $20k to help with house expenses and mortgage. My dad took cash from a credit card and pays monthly pymnt. We agreed to make this pymnt each month but now that we are seperated my husband refuses to help pay this loan back to my parents. Shouldnt he be responsible for 1/2 that monthly payment?

Re: Paying off a loan

That's an issue for equitable distribution. Sounds like nothing will make him. A court order enforced by the courts of the commonwealth will make him.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.

As Mr. Davidson indicated, that is a divorce issue. If you did not file yet, why wait?
