We are in the process of filing for a no-fault divorce. Am I eligible for any of my wife's pension plan at retirement age? Currently my wife makes about 65k and I make 50k am I entitled to any compensation, since she walked out on me, no children involved except for 4 dogs and 6 cats that are in both names and she left them for me to care for. In a few months she will be out of work at that point can she make any claims on my income. We recently re-morgaged our house to pay off all the credit cards and she is letting me have the house, how do I go about getting her name off the deed. We had 2 cars leased under both names, I turned my car in and relaesed in my name only, but her lease is not up until 12/04, how do I get my name off that lease?
Is there any compensation for having to maintain 10 animals, food and medical and groom needs?
I would appreciate any information you could provide and what are my rights under the law, that I may not have mentioned or aware of, thanks for your help.

When parties divorce, they should divide marital assets. Those are assets, including the increase in value of any non-marital assets, owned or acquired from the date of marriage to the date of separation.
If the retirement funds were owned prior to the marriage, but increased in value during the marriage, the increase is marital property. Of course, if they were acquired during the marriage, the entire amount is marital.
