Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Pfa hearing

My nephew is defending himself in a PFA hearing. Can the judge be told of the mediation the plaintiff wanted before my nephew decided to go a hearing? She agreed to give his guns back to settle it out of court. In the hearing she kept stressing that she doesn't know what he would do if he had a gun.

Re: Pfa hearing

He can try to tell the Judge; but generally offers to settle, or the substance of settlement negotiations are not considered in the hearing. See if they can agree to a continuation of the temporary order. That would protect her and your nephew could avoid a final order.
