Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
Pregnancy-Emancipation
I am a pregnant 16 year old, turning 17 in Nov. My boyfriend is already 18 and lives with his parents. I want to move in with his family. Is the only way to move in with him without court hearings and all is to have a marriage license with my parent's consent? Will I be able to sign myself out of my current school and register to a new school by being married?

Re: Pregnancy-Emancipation
You asked about emancipating through marriage.
You need to consider all of your options, this includes options that do not include marriage. You MUST speak with a few counselors about possible solutions. This includes counselors at family planning centers, your church, your school and even the state department of social services.
Getting married may be the knee-jerk right thing to do but that may cut you off from many social service programs that will provide you necessary benefits. You do not need to be married to move in with your boyfriend, but you do need your parent's consent. Age does not seem to be a problem as long as there is less than 24 months between his birthday and yours.
You should also speak with someone at a local legal clinic about your options (your local law schools or social services agencies can direct you). Since yours is not an involved matter they should be able to handle your situation.
Generally a person can attend school in the district in which they reside. If all parties are agreed then the situation is much easier to deal with. Marriage is not necessarily the correct answer and you should evaluate all your options. (I am not even suggesting terminating the pregnancy, but rather that you remain a technically "single" mom in order to qualify for the greatest number of social benefits including health insurance, grants and scholarships for school or training and state paid daycare so you can continue your education.)
I am very glad you recognize that you must continue your education. No matter what you must continue your education. Preferably you will go to school after high school. Trade schools are an excellent option at this point in time (such as HVAC, electrician, plumbing, etc.).
